2 DPS would be a bad idea. I can already see the threads at launch of people complaining about the DPS queues.

It will last 2 weeks like when HW launched and everyone and their mother was playing drk and dps had instant queues.

They should focus on balancing the current tanks and healers before they start thinking about adding more IMO

DRK was a tank. That's why DPS had instant queues. If you had only DPS then the opposite will happen and DPS queues will get longer. It is pretty much the exact opposite of what happened when HW launched.

Tanks had queues at HW launch but it didn't last, my point is long dps queues won't last long either.

Existence of active non-role reliant content such as PotD, Frontline PvP and possibly the new Daidem and Chocobos being pets rather than party members allowing for better soloing while waiting on queues might negate a fair amount of complaints.
