Pay to win, however, is not limited solely to "end game and pvp". Nor is it limited to merely "overpowered gear and abilities", as you acknowledge by your use of the word "usually". Attempting to limit it, when it is not so limited, is giving you blinders.
Nit picking my words? Nice man. I say 'usually' as in those are the easiest examples of Pay to win in the correct context. So nice try, but not successful for you.

Also pay to win isn't limited to end game? You seem to imply pay to win is something other than what involves the skill and talent of the player. Leveling and slogging through the MSQ isn't one of them.

The problem of MSQ gating remains, and jump potions do nothing to actually solve the real problem. They force new players to make up for SE's flawed design at their own expense, and any new player that doesn't purchase one will be punished for it, as this gives SE a reason to continue to ignore the issue and let it become worse over time.
How is it a punishment? If people want to play through the MSQ then they can feel free to do so. Doesn't sound like a punishment to me. I like how you use loaded words like 'punishment' to try and make a point that doesn't exist. Literal fear mongering. Nice man.

What would actually be punishing is if there was an advantage to buy gear with real money in order to clear end-game content. Now that would be punishing.
