DF expert dungeon

Geared tank:
Nin+Nin - Pull medium, mark targets, 1-2 AoE Agro, stay on target, switch to DPS stance only when group is < 4
Nin+Drg/Mnk - Pull medium, mark targets for ninja - ninja stay on target, Drg/Mnk stay on target, weave in AoE, switch to DPS stance when group < 5
Ranged + Mele - same as above, throw out AoE aggro every now and then; switch to DPS stance when group is < 4
Ranged + Ranged - Pull big, Don't drop tank stance, use AoE aggro often, don't mark targets
Speedrun Ranged + Ranged - Pull big, Be War Stay in tank stance, Have a WHM, BOOM BOOM BOOM

Undergeared tank:
Any DPS - mark targets, spam AoE aggro, don't drop tank stance - thank Heals and DPS for the carry

Geared DPS:
use Agro mitigation, mele focus targets, ranged swap targets as needed

Undergeared DPS:
use Agro mitigation or sit and wait for the tank to catch up


Geared Healer:
use Agro mitigation + AoE stun

Undergeared Healer:
use Agro mitigation + AoE stun

The NIN stuff is wrong. NINs have excellent aoe, and can aoe packs of mobs down pretty well. They should not be using a single target rotation if you pull 4 or more enemies. (Technically it's 3 or more, but TP can be an issue if the other dps is bad).

Excellent may be an exaggeration. It ain't bad, but it aint EXCELLENT.

Drg - heavy thrust, ring of thorns, doom spike spam is a pretty fast burn and worth the TP for total damage output on the group
Mnk - dragon kick, twin snakes, rockbreaker (spam if perfect balance is available) also a fast burn
Nin - katon when jitsu is off cd, or doton ; but my experience when running with ninjas is that when they run their single target rotation vs a death blossom spam the run is MUCH faster. Definitly put your AoEs in there, but still focus those single targets.

If you have advice for other NIN for a medium to large pull (8-12 mobs) with mostly AoE that'll burn really fast; please share.

well, for NIN, if there are more than 3-4 Mobs, just use your Aoe-Skills
it may be not the best aoe but its still pretty high, with most df Tanks I end up tanking at least 2-3 ( maybe not that geared or not expecting that aoe dmg :3) and the mobs die fast anyway, even with the other dps not performing well , most of the time i dont even need to use Invigorate

But in all honesty, at this point the trashmobs in the so called " expert" dungeons are weak as hell and you can aoe them down really quick, doesnt matter what classes you have, these mobs arent even worthy to be called thrashmobs :P

For larger groups you can always Death Blossom > Doton> Kassatsu>Katon> and death blossom spam (make sure you use other cross class buffs)
