I wouldn't bother using logic or continously feeding Cordie facts. Cordie's stubborness knows no bounds.

I'm not asking for anything irrational: just add an i270 path in the grindy part of the game, and do so at release time. If anything, it will take much less effort on design and dev side than the savage raids.
