Can we get a jump potion for ilvls as well? I enjoyed the story but grinding tomestones for gear was a bit boring. Would be a much better game if I could just buy gear on the shop, then I could get straight into the end game with my friends..

Might want to find a different game cause if you don't like it now you won't like further end cause that pretty much the whole end game treadmill. Outside of raiding it run dungeons get tomes to get gear, rinse and repeat in future patches. Plus even to raid you need certain gear to be the ilvl requirements so yea that pretty much the whole game right there.

I'm pretty sure they were using humour, that emote at the end looks a bit sarcastic to me for his statement to be an actual opinion.Might want to find a different game cause if you don't like it now you won't like further end cause that pretty much the whole end game treadmill. On a side note, why is : and o the emote command for... who smiles with their mouth open like that.

61 pages of max level people debating over something they have no utility for.
Guys, not only you are biased as hell, but you also don't have the data regarding new player's retention rate. If a "jump potion" is something that will bring more people to stick with the game, then it'll be implemented.
It's as simple as that.
Your feedback on the matter is almost irrelevant, since you're not the target audiance for it, and that you won't be affected by it in any meaningful way.
So, just try to do what you should do, which is not caring about it, and rejoice of finally being able to bring that one reluctant friend without having to say "don't worry dude, you only have 200 hours of fedex quests before yo can play with us!".
You're allowed to play with your friends in dungeon content before they do all their story quests BTW.
Your friends might be more apt to stay if you didn't put the whole burden on them to hit 60 and get decked out before they get to see your smiling face.
I think what really depresses me is that a jump potion does not address the core problem with the bloat. Sure, it allows the bypassing of it, but there will still be lots of new players not using it, getting bogged down by poor design and fluff that will ultimately drive some away.
Regardless if they add a potion or not, this must be addressed for the good of the game.
SWTOR had a similar problem and a tight budget to fix it with, and they managed to make a workable system by opening up choices on how you progress through the game.
Using the context of this game so people can understand it:
The core 1-50 remained unchanged except a big boost to MSQ XP so you didn't have to do any side stuff at all, and at 50, you had a choice of heading straight to HW, or play the stuff in between, and once finishing HW, you could head straight to Stormblood.
There's a warning popup letting you know about missing some key parts of the story by skipping, and because that game has a lot of choices, they will be made in a default light or dark manner if you decide to skip.
Yea lets put it all on SE instead of you maybe not being the best of friend by not wanting to do lower level content with them cause as others have pointed out in other threads there more to the game then just the MSQ.
Hey jump supporters, should the potion come with a full set of the secondary tomestone gear as well, lore gear for now? If it's about getting to endgame and playing with friends then some half way decent armor would help.
What about if it's called 'jump premium potion' and costs extra?
