See this is why SE is ready to release a jump potion and break the game.. >.<

Exactly the audience SE would profit off from jump potions

Why are people complaining about how long it takes to level up your other jobs. Your playing an MMORPG and a Final Fantasy game to boot. Final Fantasy is known for the exp grinding you have to do when levelling.

Now let's be real now the main reason way people don't want a Level jump potion is because it would be unfair to all the people that put in the time an effort to get all there jobs to level 60. That's the only reason why people don't want it.

Now if it was a exp ring that gave you a little bit extra exp that would be cool like they had in FF11 but even that had a limit to it. I think it had like a timer on it or something and once you had use it all up you had to wait for the time to reset before you can use it again.

Ether way, what ever SE decide to do the should be a limit to it. It's not about everything in this game being change to make life easy for people who keep complaining.

people leveled DRK/MCH/AST 30-60 in 1 day, when HW was released; why should it be faster?
this game doesn't even remotely need an XP boost option.

How can you want something that takes maybe 20 hours tops to be made even shorter? There's gotta be some standards!

It took me forever to get to 60, partly because I tend to struggle when I have no MSQs to go by. After I did get to 60, I did wait a bit so I could get geared and stuff, and then went back and leveled other jobs to 60. I don't level all too fast in general because I get distracted easily, and I don't play the four days I'm at work, but I'm currently passively leveling the last job I had at level 1. Even I found it to go pretty fast.

And I have no idea how to level when I go to the next job. I just forget everything I did.

I know I do challenge logs, roulettes, hunting logs for the jobs that have them at the appropriate levels, beast tribes 50+, occasionally going out with leves or dungeon separate from roulette, challenge logs, and other things. This one I'm leveling now has done a lot of PotD, and that exp is a lot.

Honestly, we already have the boosted exp from all of those things we already have in game. Why do we need another? Sure, it'd be nice, but is it really necessary?

This thread is quite interesting, and speaks volumes about the type people that frequent these forums when potd is brought up as often as it is as a solution to anything...

TC, if anything, leveling your first and other jobs needs to be slowed down - significantly slowed down. I'm talking along the lines of, keep the exp gains you make now, but have to get ten to twenty times the exp to level up, kind of slowdown. Instead of 3.9 mil exp to go from 59 to 60, 70 mil exp to go from 59 to 60.

The game begins at 1, not at 60/i250.

Its too late (it was too late when they decided not to wipe characters after that last 2.0 open beta) to do it for 1-60, and they won't do it for 61-70, but the exp amount required to gain one level should be immense. Leveling up started out way too fast, and it has only gotten faster since.

This kinda does exist already, the brand new ring from hall of novice gives exp bonus with the only limitation is that the bonus only applies to level 30, I know it's not a huge grind from 1-30 but that ring speeds up leveling of all combat classes to the point you unlock the jobs.
