if anything THIS is what needs improving, we need ways to be able to comfortably gear all the jobs, perhaps tomestone discounts for other job pieces once we get a particular piece (probably wouldnt work because of factors such as desynth, but im just spitballing). Changing role halfway through a patch cycle is kinda difficult in the current state of the game.levlling is easy enough (particulary with potd in the mix now) but levelling eveything is also kinda pointless, as you'll never be able to gear them all because of the ridculous eye-dropper gearing system. I can see why some just log in every Tuesday and then are gone for the week.
Levelling is actually quite fast now and it's also a comftable speed so you can get used to new skills in your job, also if you think levelling is slow now you should really have tried in 1.0 I know it was grind parties but it still took a VERY long time.

Leveling is quite fast here. But when it comes from 50 to 60, it takes much longer than before. Fortuneately, you got many alternatives to level your classes (Palace of the Dead, Beast Tribes, Duty Roulette, s.o.).
The only thing that bothers me is, why do you actually need to level your classes, when the most fun part starts with Level 60? Even when it goes quite fast to reach Level 60, its not actually fun.

50 to 60 is still fast.
Roulette exp and beast tribe quests alone bring a job within 1 week from lv 50 to 60

Well, for me it took 1 day for 1 level up, including roulettes, beast tribes, hunting log and 1-2 dungeons.
That took a bit longer than going only 1-2 dungeons for 49-50.

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for a 'leveling potion' to speed up leveling. To skip leveling and content? That's debatable, as they stated in the Fanfest, they're thinking of having a jump potion. (There's a whole thread for that so I'm not getting into it)
PotD has been, far and wide, the best addition for leveling. And you don't even need to gear for said place; simply go in and keep hacking at the dungeons until you get the arms/armor required to blow through the first 30 (or 40) levels of it.
Really, it's about an hour and a half, at most. And you actually learn your class doing it, versus skipping levels completely.
Nope. I'm poopoo'ing on this idea. Sorry.
This is crazy talk if u really wanted to you could level up all 13 classes in less than a month once u have a sixty. As the title says, leveling up alternative jobs on a single character is an absolute slog. It takes, in my opinion, way too long, even with the armory bonus and FC bonus.
I'd like to propose the ability to purchase some sort of XP boost, whether it be in the form of a potion, a piece of gear, etc, which gives a substantial increase in EXP gained.
My hopes are that if this change were implemented, the highly repetitive and monotonous process of leveling would be cut down dramatically because you could more easily shift to different types of content as your levels increase at a higher rate (I'm looking at you, non-stop Vault runs from 57-59).

This is pretty much it for me. I have every combat job at 60 except for healers (missing WHM/AST) on my main character, and my alt is level 60 warrior and monk.
At this point it's just insanely boring to level yet another job through whatever is The Most Efficient™ method no matter how "fast" it is. It's even worse when you do it some other way that takes an incredible amount of time longer because you're just drawing out the torture willingly then.

My life while tanking is an existential hell from which there is no escape.
PoTD.. sooo boring.
I just wish we could replay through our old quests on alternate jobs.
