Agreed.
As a MCH I like to stay close to the boss. Not like, right on top of it, but close enough to use Blank with just a little strut forward. This way I can get out of cones with ease, and I'm in the perfect position to get out of PBAoEs and Reverse PBAoEs.

No. I'm not your healer! You are my tank!

Current pet peeves: when the dps get hit by every. Single. Mechanic. In A11 and A12 final phases then blame the healers for "letting them die". One time I actually had someone bitch me out for not raising them when I was waiting on Swiftcast and keeping tank and party alive after raising my cohealer.

I'll jump on the "regens before pull" wagon, it's probably one of my biggest pet peeves in healing. It achieves nothing but building up unnecessary enmity before any big healing is actually needed, and just makes the tank's life harder. I remember when one of my DPS-main friends - a great player in general - decided to come heal VA with me, and I saw them in action as a WHM for the first time. They constantly threw up Medica II before both the trash pulls and boss fights... I don't think I'd ever felt so betrayed.
Oh, and when you can spot a SCH-main levelling up WHM/ AST from a mile away... Stoneskin. Every. 30. Seconds. Pls stop.
But in all seriousness, one of my many pet peeves as a healer (or as any role, to be honest) is someone treating a 1-50 or 51-60 4-man Duty like a 24-man Raid where doing stuff actually counts for something. Biting the heads off all the newbies present, because some entitled hardcore raider believes it's his Twelve-given right to do so really pisses me off.

24 man is more lax than a Leveling/50/60 dungeon. Just saying. 24 man raids are the farthest thing from hardcore. q.q
I can't do any non-raids without doing stoneskin+adlo/AST-shield between every pull. It's too deeply ingrained in my brain!
I also agree with the medica 2. It makes me cringe and die a little inside every time I see someone do it.

Between pulls is fine. Constantly doing it during pulls/ fights, on the other hand...
By the way, I think I was actually put with you on a roulette run the other day. You were a great AST!
