I think, if everyone's telling you to just hurry up and get to end game, you are with the wrong people for you. There will always be FCs that are welcoming and social, who don't just focus on raiding. Might be you have to search for another to fit your taste?

They'll just blame it on levelling potions when people were shit at their jobs WAAAAAY before it was introduced, but what do I know?

    1. Old content gets pretty much again attached to a new story line or relic quest line. For example, the Anima relic with the step to acquire 5x "Aether Oil". You would need to run The Crystal Tower Saga raids or spend 1800 Lore stones to get them. Another thing would be the Wondrous Tails which also gives you the chance to redo old content. And you can be ensured that people definetly do those things right now. Wonderous Tails was a great solution for old content. Now, again - with 4.0.. yes we will get a lot of new things. But I can say that they will add again new things to old content. Maybe again something similar like those stones to recreate Allagan/High Allagan skins. Or new Orchestrion scrolls.

    2. Old content is so essential for new players. Every boss fight has his unique mechanic. Every boss uses old mechanics from previous bosses. How should a new player get used to those things if they havent seen those mechanics ever before? Simple answer: They will see it, by running old content with either other "new players" or "friends" or "veterans".

A jump potion is in my eyes, not necessary for JP/NA/EU. I dont want to see people with low dps or less understanding for mechanics in extreme primals or raids.

I agree, it doesn't matter what level or place of the story you're at. If you're horrible at the game, you will continue to be so without the proper barriers to facilitate your awareness (Parsers, hard content barriers) . The game standards are extremely low in the current main story with fetch quests and do dungeon X/B which can be carried/ unsynch'd nowadays. The Wondrous Tails newbie bonus does not help facilitate proper mechanical knowledge either.

I think the only good use for jump potions is for Alts. I currently have none, because I don't want to go through the whole story again, but if we had jump potions, I would use it for them on jobs I already know. I would still take the long route for new jobs, though.

    People arguing: why not?
I'm asking, Why yes? What the benefit? insta-cap? and? leveling in this game is a JOKE...New members joining our FC in at max 1 month are already 60 with msq unlocked.
The only thing that keep u behind are the sea of msq and quest in general... do u wanna skip that? then why r u playing? there is a reason to burn the game, wow u reach the end, and? get bored cuz u haven't nothing to do..

People have to stop complain that there is nothing to do AND saying too much time to reach that point.. is... stupid. PLAY and GET FUN.

Yet another reminder that adding a level boost doesn't mean everyone will use it, level boosting is quite expensive ($60 in WoW), most people will just level up as normal, there won't be a massive influx of bad players in leveling dungeons, at least no more than the ones coming from PotD.

And yet another reminder that it doesn't take you to level cap.

If people are so concerned about having "bads" in DF they should be asking SE for a proper player feedback like a personal parser and to prioritize the "hall of the intermediate", and make it mandatory along with Stone, Sky, Sea.
