Yeah, ugh. I feel like I'm in the minority who is okay with the lumps being smaller?

But if we are getting super serious... as someone who has *made these costumes* ... let me tell you, even the smallest chest in this game would barely qualify as an A cup. My character, a miqo'te, is on the smaller side with her chest... but I don't think I put the slider all the way down. Yet, when I made her cosplay, my chest is noticeably smaller than the source images... and I am an A cup... so let's compare these lumps to *real life* proportions. I think the problem is that so many people are used to seeing larger lumps in videogames that when they see something closer to the average size, they think it's too small. I'm not going to cry that it's 'oversexualization', but rather that people are used to something much larger than the true average sizes among humans. We can argue that the average woman in the US would have larger behinds and chests, but remember this is an international game made for an international audience.

In fact, I've watched animation reviews where people were outraged by the fact that a woman character was not drawn with "visible" lumps, unlike the other female characters. So apparently women aren't even considered women if they don't have boobs that you can see...

Hmm, I don't think it's a D, but it's definitely not an A. My most recent cosplay was the SMN esoteric set, and that is already a little fluffy because of the material on the himation (toga thing), yet my character's chest goes out A LOT even beyond this. I used a padded bra and my chest barely makes a dent beyond the fabric (which is honestly tighter to my body than I think the game is). So that was a huge wakeup call that even I am biased and I thought my character's chest was closer to my size, when in reality it is not.

Maybe I should sit down and actually measure out the sizes of the different cups... there is an easy way to do this using garment-making logic. (For every inch the chest jets out from the body compared to the measurements directly above your breast, add a cup size. So one inch would be A, two would be B, etc.) The only way to truly *figure this out* would be to have a perfect measurement for an inch compared to screenshots in the game. If you are like me and chose your character to be a specific height (mine is 5 feet tall), you could theoretically calculate this and put the issue to bed once and for all. I actually recently calculated out the size of Garuda-Egi using this method so I could put that issue of people saying egis are too small to bed. Haha... Garuda-Egi is about 3.5 feet tall (from tip of the outstretched leg/boot to the tip of the head flares) and more than 5 feet wide (full outstretched wingspan) if you were curious.

I'd link bra sizes but I'm sure real boobs would offend the forum-hammer wielders. A is pretty small, the Miqo'te chest size is def above a BB in size, there's no way they're an A, a Lalafel is closer to an A cup, haha.

There were 4 groups of people listed there - you targeted the Christian for what can only be observed as a bias towards them - To the Japanese, the body form is deadlock and there is nothing wrong with them...
