PLEASE have some sort of balance in PotD? Introduce some sort of checkpoint system.

So i spent the today trying to complete palace with my friends, furthest we got was floor 180+ this took around 9 + hours of play.

I mean PotD had checkpoints, if you die on floor 50 you return back to floor 40-50 so why not add some sort of checkpoint for the new one? cos let me tell you, wiping for 1 bad mistake to loose 150 floors its pretty soul destroying. I know the challenge is to not die but still, going back 50 floors seem a little bit better than going back the entire dungeon. :3

I play for leisure not for torture. I want to finish POTD, but not if its like this. It's my favorite content, but I have a life outside FFXIV and can't be glued to the screen like this.

You do realize that 1-100 is story related and the floors above that is hardcore/savage type content right? If you are too casual or not skilled enough, it was not intended for you. It has been said numerous times that this was made to be very difficult content for dedicated players.
