Maybe if it didn't require 4 clears of a nonetheless obsolete dungeon (hour+ queues here) just to be able to then purchase the weapon with tomes, we'd see a lot more up-to-date weapons among casual players?

Personally I'd just like to see more ways to get weapons at this point, such as easily known challenge modes or achievement bits within dungeons over ilvl 160.

Another thing that would help is of course more accurate ilvl weights. If the ilvl of your weapon determines so much more than the ilvl of your rings, then weigh it accordingly.

SE should maybe put a restriction on EX roulette, and even the 60 roulette, where you need to have a weapon of suitable ilvl before entering.

So not only do you want this punitive restriction, you also want to make it nearly impossible for people to gear up enough to unlock the weapon in the first place. Cool story bro.

I took time off the game and I can't even get into an A5 to start to UNLOCK A8. It's literally impossible because nobody queues for them.

Easy solution. Put up PF with clear message that you would like to do A5-A8 WITH A BONUS and you will have full group in 5 minutes. People really need those 2nd chance points for Khloe.
