    Please, for the love of all that is good in MMOs, put a weapon ilvl requirement on ex

    I'm sick of doing ex roulettes with undergeared players who choose to deck themselves out in full 230 non-upgraded lore running with a i160 weapon they got from a dungeon released over a year ago. I'm sick of it.

    Dev team, if you want this game to be healthy, you need to start putting requirements like these on matched content. Runs are taking wayyyyy too long when you get paired with DPS who just don't care.

    I'm not even asking for a high requirement, I think i200+ would be fine for expert (I'd prefer 230+ but after spending 30 minutes in Xelphatol because of subpar DPS, I'll gladly take 200).

    It's really crappy and I hate it when this happens.

    or just make the weapons easier to obtain after the next tomestones are implemented like with poetics, let the allagan stone for the weapons be buyable with tomestones.

    I've never seen anything less than i200 in any content, but I can understand how one could. When Soldiery was here, you only needed enough of it to get an i200 weapon. Now you need the Lore AND an item gained from trading an object from 6 runs of A8 (which nobody wants to run constantly, let's face it). Or you keep running PotD in hopes that you can get +30 on both arms and armor so you can trade it for a 235 weapon. It's more...annoying to get a 200+ weapon now. :/

    Would be nice to have the tomestone items that you need to buy the weapons, be bought with lore. While I'm all for trying to keep old content relavent.. I'm far to lazy to run A8 a bunch to get enough gears to get the tome. 240 weapons are the new norm, and for god sake, you can buy 250 crafted weapons... get with it dev team!!

    They could just release weapons with the dungeons. Why not an ilv225 weapon dropping from the EX roulettes, to go with the equipment sets? It's green, not meldable and way behind the current tier weapons, so there's no reason not to add it.

    It is not 6 runs of A8. It was 7 runs but it is NOW 4 runs and you can do them back-to-back unlike before.

    When you can literally get a 230 weapon in an afternoon worth of work, there is no excuse for having i160 weapon in a i210 dungeon. No excuse. No reason for it. And SE needs to BAR that behavior from -ever- happening. It's uncanny.

    Not the point. Dungeons shouldn't be taking upwards of 30+ minutes all because someone is too lazy to upgrade their weapon. And SE shouldn't allow this to even happen. When the weapon is the #1 determining factor in your damage output, it needs to be considered by SE to put restrictions in place like this. Are you really telling me you'd be OK with being paired with 2 DPS that have subpar weapons yet the rest of their gear is decked out? Are you really trying to insinuate this?

    The NIN I was stuck with previously was doing around 600 dps. Full 230 , 160 weapon. Literally HALF of his DPS at this point in the game is missing because of his gimp i160 weapon. SE should maybe put a restriction on EX roulette, and even the 60 roulette, where you need to have a weapon of suitable ilvl before entering.

    Sorry you didn't understand. (I know now why I don't come here - too many...)

    I will gladly take this over the current system. It's baffling to me how anyone could walk into a dungeon with a weapon ilvl 50 lower than the dungeon's average requirement. Simply blasphemy, I tell you.

    Maybe if it didn't require 4 clears of a nonetheless obsolete dungeon (hour+ queues here) just to be able to then purchase the weapon with tomes, we'd see a lot more up-to-date weapons among casual players?

    Personally I'd just like to see more ways to get weapons at this point, such as easily known challenge modes or achievement bits within dungeons over ilvl 160.

    Another thing that would help is of course more accurate ilvl weights. If the ilvl of your weapon determines so much more than the ilvl of your rings, then weigh it accordingly.

    the devs made content, and want people to run it over and over, basically. more check lists of old content, u put a cute char like khloe and some spicy rewards, and lets do the old content again and again and again, and then lets do it again each week too, and then a new shiny relic appears, let's do the old content yet another time !

    I wish they'd just get rid of the ilvl lol we didn't have it in 1.x days and things worked fine, player skill mattered the most, and gear was used to just enhance it
