Stop acting as if the 2 pieces of Ilvl 225 on the right side would make the healers live miserabel. This is absolutly not true.

You do realize that if he's getting hit for 21k and only has 20k health, then those i225 right side pieces are in fact a detriment, especially when he can just buy i250. And rezzing main tanks is always miserable for healers.

I believe it's nothing about the difficulty or your skills, it's about what kind of your way to play this game. I don't think you will play this game for long, you have nothing wrong about yourself, this game is just not for you.

Actually, the tower doesn't explode if the tower damage kills the person inside it, so the party is just fine (at least, as long as they get the tank up again before the next time the tank is needed). "Saccing" a tower (tossing a weak player in and letting them die) is a valid strategy to prevent the tower from exploding. Though, to be fair, if you ever need to sac a tower, chances are things are spiraling so badly out of control that you're likely not gonna recover anyway. XD

Yeah, same recoverable strategy like us tanks can take a green tether with the wrong debuff, we can just pop an immunity cooldown to live through it. But it's likely there were more mistakes.

So I just cleared Sophia EX yesterday, only done it twice before never gotten past the adds phase, it was like not bad lol. It to me was the same difficulty of the last alex( normal) [btw I healed it]

I don't think Sophia is very mechanically challenging... In fact, I think she is very easy once the mechanics 'click' in your head... particularly how the tilts work. I won't get into that because someone already offered a very comprehensive explanation earlier in the thread, but I will say: if you aren't sure about the tilts, make sure to look at both the amount of tethers (odd or even) and the side that has the blue meteor. That's all you need to know for that. For the tank crunch, I agree that, while your gear could use a little help, I think the people trying to offer you help might not have been 100% knowledgeable about what the problem was. There is a reason people use tank swaps in this fight, and I have seen a lot of tanks drop... even in farm parties where we are getting consistent clears. Actually, the thing that shocks me the most is how many parties I'll get with really bad damage... to the point where we'll hit the enrage. I can only assume it's because of all the deaths or people have low damage because they are focusing so hard on the mechanics they don't fully grasp.

This comment has zero relevancy to what I said. There's almost 20 pages of this person receiving "educated" help and the person is still failing at page 15 (where I stopped reading). That's why they should quit. Because the FFXIV playerbase has unskilled players that don't (or can't) take advice and become skilled. Okay, then quit so people who don't bitch and moan on the forums can play the game. This is quite possibly the shittiest and most nonsensical response I could've received to my comment unless maybe a monkey smashed its ass into a keyboard.

OP cleared it and is probably farming right now. You should be the one to stop playing, no one needs someone that can't understand that different people learn at different rates.

When? OP was just feeling hopeless about beating the primal, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's a natural reaction when you fail something several times.
