This is bugging me. Up until now, we've had exactly two cinematic teasers: one for Heavensward, and one for Stormblood. Claiming that the very first has set some sort of recurring theme that all those thereafter must follow just seems to be reaching for straws. "They didn't do this the first time; they can't possibly have done this the second time." Please.
Unless you don't mean only the expansion teasers. In which case, the Heavensward launch trailer shows the new jobs. They just didn't show it to us until they'd already told us about them.
Or do you mean the ARR trailer? That one showed every single one of the -zero- new jobs we got.
And before then... well, I'm having trouble finding anything from 1.x apart from the opening cinematic. I can recall there being a archer, conjuror, gladiator and marauder fighting the marlboro -- all brand new classes at the time. Jobs were apparently introduced around patch 1.2, but if there's a cinematic teaser or trailer for that patch, I can't find it.
The "New" jobs for 2.0 were Summoner and Scholar. The End of an Era trailer only showed WAR, BRD, PLD, WHM, and BLM. SMN and SCH were not shown. The heavensward trailer ONLY showcased the WoL as a WAR then him as a DRG with a bunch of DRG. Not DRK, MCH, and AST. We got an in game look at them AFTER they were officially announced. This trailer is showing two MNKs. The girl is not a Dancer.
Didn't dragoons get a four hit combo with the addition of 'Wheeling Thrust' and 'Fang and Claw' in Heavensward?
True, it's not executed in midair in-game. That bit was probably a flight of fancy.
I'd expect any trailer to be a mix of fact and style.
Oooh, shiney...
Doubtful. The devs have thus far stuck pretty firmly to keeping Male/Female designs of the same equipment mostly the same. Seems far more likely what her sparring partner the WoL was wearing is the Monk AF3. So in the event that the girl isn't a Dancer, thus making it the Dancer Artifact Set, it's far more likely that it's a unique outfit for her as an NPC.
Which means cashshop. Woo...
Lol this argument is like the WOD argument. So many people where %100 positive that the WOD would not be actual characters, because they refused to have an open mind or speculate the possibilities that they were more than just cinematic stand ins. Those closed minded people were proven wrong. Let people have fun and speculate. That's the fun of not knowing.
Right? Right now is the fun time and excitement of the numerous possibilities we can have and people just want to crush peoples dreams for really no reason at all other than to be contrarian. Let our imaginations run wild and enjoy the anticipation and hype! It doesn't come around often. :PLol this argument is like the WOD argument. Speculation is great! Have fun! Just keep it within the realm of possibilities. Dancer may just be a job we get. If so, awesome! I welcome it. However, I also know how this community can be. They'll run with the wildest theory and when their little bubble get's burst by the reality of the situation, 1000 threads will pop up with "I'm disappointed with ____________, How dare S.E turn their backs on their greatest fans/supporters, (insert speculated job here) was confirmed! Why are they backtracking now!" doom and gloom, over and over and over.Right? So most of us, are trying to keep the speculation within the realm of possibility by presenting fact.

It's all fun and games right up until they announce the new jobs and it doesn't include Dancer, then everyone grabs their pitch forks and torches because Dancer was already confirmed by the woman in red doing monk attacks.Right? Personally, I think Dancer has a high probability of being one of the jobs unless they only implement two, in which case it'll undoubtedly be Red Mage and Samurai (based off of 2015 Rising Event). I just don't think the trailer is anyway related to Dancer as, other than her outfit, all of her moves are identifiable monk moves.
Have seen people make this claim a few times, but I've never seen it. Do you have any examples? I am not trying to argue, I am legit curious about what examples there are.Speculation is great!
