Well its because a emote really doesn't affect you. Its kinda selfish of u since everything is fine as long as YOU can afford it but that's not how it works. Would you complain about that someone drives a expensive car etc. too because you cant afford it? because it affects your enjoyment? You see its not a big deal for some ppl mounts/fantasia etc. are called "expensive" for some it isn't. Ppl just don't care cause they can afford it now they cant and complain

I was saying how is sad that rl wealth is affecting a game that I was using for escapism. I don't see how having an opinion like that is selfish?

And selling the high end raid equip would only affect you positively, as the players that buy it would be able to carry the players in worse equip better with their higher output. PvP is synced, so no advantage there and you don't get an advantage on the Market Board game either.

And if you can't afford it, you can still just do the raids yourself and get the weapons that way. Not only does selling power like that positively affect other players, they can also get it via ingame means if they cannot afford it. Seems much better than exclusive cosmetics from a rational point of view. Even more so when you consider that the equipment will become outdated anyway.

Irrationally, people will be screaming at the notion! Just watch.

I'm saying your way of thinking is wrong, and that your priorities are in the wrong places, that's all. I used the not-playing thing as an example, I'm not saying you don't deserve it or that you shouldn't have the opportunity, but the fact that a vanity item affects you negatively (outside of racism and stereotyping but let's not go into that) is very dramatic and attention-seeking. It doesn't feel like a genuine issue.
