FFXI had a similar statue for the Shadow Lord. (No emote though.) The SE community team gave away several as prizes for contest. My best friend won her statue that way.

Maybe the XIV community team could give away some of these statues as prizes too, or at least just the emote? For art contests and the like.

I am so annoyed that the Odin emote is locked to buying a figure that's over 100$ I understand minions, and furniture coming with merchandise, but they weren't over 100$ They were like 50$ There is no way most people can afford this.

You're not paying $130 for an emote, you're paying $130 for a model of Odin. The emote is a gift for buying it. A quick search of amazon pr jbox shows that the price is pretty standard for high detail decorative statues.

The cost of the statue is fine, as a collectors item. I have bought many figurines from SE in the past (albeit not directly from their store) and they were worth the money that I spent. A lot of time and effort goes into making these items and the emote is a nice bonus. And yes perhaps they could of added it with the mount etc as some people have suggested earlier on in the thread - but they can do as they wish at their discretion. Now if they made an Aymeric figurine, I would happily give them money but I'm going off topic now..

And who knows maybe in time the emote will become available to purchase on its own, we just have to wait and see. Patience is a virtue. As for the OP making a big fuss about it and making other threads about "complaining players" and yet managing to pay for the live-stream... really that in itself is shocking. >_>
