I like it more when people use ready check and the new countdown thing. I feel awkward whenever a boss gets pulled and my CDs aren't up, even if it's faceroll content.

Oh yeah, I don't see a problem with /readycheck in the 24 mans, and the countdowns and stuff are useful for the 8 mans. I just got the impression OP was on about the 4 man stuff for some reason. It really depends on the content. Saw a tank rush pull Void Ark over the weekend. Visually seeing a light party present and accounted for is much simpler than visually seeing an alliance is present and accounted for. Granted it didn't seem to make much of a difference how many people were locked out in Void Ark.
See, and while we're waiting for your CDs to come up the other guy is moaning about his buffs dropping.
I can understand if there is a monk in the party or if someone is in a hurry for whatever reason like daily/weekly resets. As I said, I like it when people use it but if not then I just move on and do my thing.
No, I can understand that. I used to pause to wait for my damage cooldowns (what little exists of them anyway) to be ready, but it just doesn't seem worth it most of the time.
It isn't like they can't be used mid-fight, seems to me it's better to get stuck in and do some damage while waiting rather than stand around waiting and doing no damage. Slow progress turning into fast progress has always got to be faster than no progress turning into fast progress right?
