Meh, in 4-mans I don't slow down for the bosses. Just run straight in and chuck my shield in its face.

Dungeons are faceroll content anyway, I never stop for any countdowns or ready checks in dungeons. Timed pulls are for raids and trials.
I only don't RC in dungeons. for extreme/savage I always use RC and 15-20 second countdown, depending if theres a nin dps, its common courtesy.

cool dont ready check and lock people out sounds the plan of success
It really depends on the content. Saw a tank rush pull Void Ark over the weekend. Visually seeing a light party present and accounted for is much simpler than visually seeing an alliance is present and accounted for. Granted it didn't seem to make much of a difference how many people were locked out in Void Ark.
I like it more when people use ready check and the new countdown thing. I feel awkward whenever a boss gets pulled and my CDs aren't up, even if it's faceroll content.

Oh yeah, I don't see a problem with /readycheck in the 24 mans, and the countdowns and stuff are useful for the 8 mans. I just got the impression OP was on about the 4 man stuff for some reason. It really depends on the content. Saw a tank rush pull Void Ark over the weekend. See, and while we're waiting for your CDs to come up the other guy is moaning about his buffs dropping.
