    From what I felt after reading this, DRK does seem to be the most suitable tank class for your preferences.
    It has bloodweapon, which decreases your GCD delay by 10% and the most amount of OGCD attacks between the tanks with low cooldowns for singletarget or aoe situations( 6 on DRK vs 3 on PLD vs 1 on War), which can make DRK gameplay more hectic inbetween the 2.0-2.5 GCDs than say a PLD or Warrior, alongside of MP management(you can quickly expend all your MP, but you have multiple options to get the MP quickly back).

    Not gonna comment on the current Tank Meta much, all Tanks have their viability right now in current endgame savage content.
