Ifrit reward system seriously needs tweaking

As I said, I was expecting a tyrade in return, but honestly, from where I sit, I see an attempt to avoid players whining about looting systems such as need/greed and "ninja looting". It's not a great attempt, but meh, at least they are thinking on it

Cant argue about ninja looting when the game itself already ninja'd the loot for ya. Its an automatic ninja!

And honestly SE should not be trying to make systems to avoid whining and looting, bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad idea to try and even do that. XI had it 100% perfect, theres 1 big pool, and let people be cival or animals about whats in there.

I like that they are trying different ways to approach the issue. This one may not be on the nose though, but it's at least clear that they are testing out various options.

I do understand your point Vahzl, and sorry if i came across rude. I just think they need to think of a system which will avoid future problems aswell... I dunno hopefully SE will think of something that will appeal to all players:casual and hardcore.

So wait. I'm still slightly confused. One person opens the chest, and EVERYONE gets something, and that something may or may not be a COMPLETELY RANDOM Ifrit weapon. I've got it right, right?

If I heard right, everyone gets something yes. While I do love the idea that no matter what, you get a little token for the fight, the randomness of it is a little silly.

Other alternatives could have been:

- Pick up a token which can be traded to a vendor for a selection of loot from a list
- Drops only crafting materials, which can be used to make your weapon of choice

We are very much in a beta phase still, and with everything they implement, they don't remove, instead adjust and change it based on feedback. We can expect alot more of this as the patches roll in too. Yes physical level was removed, and reverted back to the standard cookie cutter exp system, but at least they are trying to bring out something unique, instead of the same crap we see in many other MMo's.

There are going to be alot of things some people don't like, sadly not everyone can be pleased 100% of the time. It is down to us to provide constructive feedback for the developers, so they can see what does and doesn't work.

Opening threads with things like "This is a JOKE" and "THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE", and various other pompous statements don't help them at all, as this just shows you are getting ranty, but have no base to your statements. I encourage constructive feedback, and troll that which isn't.
