FFXIV 2nd expansion: Viera-like race still a possibility?

So why not a third clan for Elezen (one of the most least played races)? Or are the rabbit ears (which would require SE to redesign every piece of head gear that isn't a crown and tiara) really that important?

Nothing would need to be redesigned if they go the route of Au ra horns- they just clip straight through everything lol.
