Yeah no, Au Ra is the same, if not even more so. Only difference they have are horns, skin texture and a pointier tail. That excuse is more stale than Yoshi's "Look forward to it!" line -_-
SE or an OP please tell the guys in japan, we wan't the Viera.
Not because they are Viera, but because we want something "not cute".
All female races in FF14 are cute, most Miqo'te Males are so cute, that they are woman without breasts. As an german and european play, i demand something wild, aggressiv, hot and not cute.
Hyuran = Cute / Sporty Cute
Lalafell = Littel Cute
Miqo'Te = Cute Nekos (Catgirls)
Elezen = Noble Cute with pointy ears! (With awful bad animations and far to small heads!. Rework them!!!)
Rogs = Big breastet, guts & cute
Au'ra = Little asia girl cute... ultra cute... (But where are the aggrassive female mogolian xaela girls... they have ribbons everywhere)
So i demand a wild, hot, aggrassive race where you get scary when the look at you and scream. Like Fran in FF12. But now we only have cute girls and guys who look like some girls. And the manly man highlander and the marshmello man rogs and the seppirot / dragon hybrids like Au'ra guys.
Qu race or gtfo
No more potatoes please.
Viera all the way!
We need a cute race covered with fur and bunnyears!![]()
God I hope not, I would not want a rabbit race.
I want something else than a rabbit, I would go for vampire or wolfman maybe even a cyborg race but not that race.
I personally wouldnt mind a vampire but I want something more uniq like birdman and bird female like shining force.
I said it before, when they voted that poll in and it won not everyone was playing so that poll was no good, if you get everyone's vote I betcha anything it would not win.

The 5 original FFXIV races were direct copy from FFXI so I could see them taking Viera from FF12. They actually thought about it since they did the concept art. But I wouldn't want to be a bunny.
