Why not? ^^. Give hyur some pony ears, a long tail, various skin colors and wings/horn, put your own tattoo on their flank and you got "My Little Pony: Eorzea is magic". I totally swear, subscription numbers will heavily increase! >: D
Still hoping for some kind of playable lamia race. You dont even need to create an entire new race. Just give Au Ra the option to choose between legs or long tail : )

Point me to where a tantrum has been thrown, becuase this entire thread has been more about discussing our collective desires for more animalistic races, a viera (rabbit) inspired race being the forefront.
Some of us aren't cat people or don't want to look like half the playerbase. Some of us can't stand how Au Ra were handled, with the tiny cute females. Some of us really love the beast tribe designs.
We just want more options.
Wow this thread came back !!! Did i miss something ?

Ill say it again cause new people keep coming and asking for beastial races. They will not add anything that is far from human cause they dont want to redesign armors for them. This means no Lamias no spider people no centaurs. Also the beast people (kobolds and sylphs and so on) are not allowed in uldah so they cant be playable. And i always love how people always brings up the Yoshi P. Said vieras are just cat girls with rabbit ears so he wants something else but then he adds the garleans which are litterally Hyurs with a gem on their forehead thats supposed to be a third eye.... THATS completly badass but god forbid we add rabbit ears to miqote.
