    It'd be cool if there was a carbuncle that provided defensive raid buffs or something. Make it something people bring when there's a lot of raid damage going around.

    I agree and believe that carbuncles should come back as more powerful summons. They are just too cute to be tossed aside like that!

    Now if only there was a carbuncle specialist, one who was introduced in the Anima Weapon questline, that could facilitate those "egi glamours" we are supposed to get in 3.4......

    Carbuncles are being given back to SMNs as a form of glamour for their pets.
