I've always been a fan of them actually fully developing content before releasing it even if it falls on it's face. All the things you have listed as failures, failed due to SE's lack of reaction to feedback. I get it they are a big company with lots of oversight but that's something they need to work on if they want to be able to operate in todays gaming market where people expect decisive reactions from their game makers. Blizzard set the benchmark for community reaction and interaction.

SE has been very good with constant updates, but they cling to their clandestine silence from way back in the XI days. At least back then when content was planned and released it was fully formed due to the larger patch cycle not giving them a chance to half release much stuff.
