Controller vs keyboard

Really like the analog joystick movement and use of abilities interface for the controller. But the interface and map and using the different screens along with the targetting of mobs is really annoying. Keyboard is better at all these things. You cannot beat point and click for window management. ..but pressing the movement key and holding it down I hate. I guess there is no way I can be satisfied

Have you tried out keyboard devices with joysticks like the Logitech G13 and the Razer Tartarus? Might be right up your alley.

Honestly controller is the best, I find it way easier to react with, don't have to drag a mouse or punch numbers. Way faster with a controller.The HUD might be a little weird but you'll get use to it in time.

Are you using legacy settings? If so how did you fix the camera auto-adjustment issue? Or does it not bother you?

Um no...... I don't think so I just put the controller mode on and everything felt like playing a ps4 game( the camera was controller able)

There's also a keybind for moving forward continuously until you voluntarily stop the movement so you don't have to hold anything down to simply continue moving forward.

I use my controller for pretty much everything besides typing and maybe originally moving my windows around to where I wanted them.
I also have a hotbar with all my classes on it for easy switching...but if I'm feeling truly lazy I'll just go into the gearset window and do it that way

Since I like to lean back while playing, it's hard for me to move my mouse on a pillow or something (my keyboard is long enough to reach my lap). Not to mention I started playing the game on my laptop and trying to play this game with a touchpad is nigh impossible.
