FFXIV 2nd expansion: Viera-like race still a possibility?

Wouldn't it make more sense for the Viera's lore to be introduced a non-playable race created by the elementals, or are the elementals in a physical form. It's not really impossible to introduce them. Especially if they decide to make them nonplayable. Just make them like tree-people or something, and be Proto-Viera.

We probably will get viagra or whatever eventually at some point. We've got normal anime chicks (hyur), anime chicks with cat ears (miqote), and anime chicks with dragon horns (au'ra). Anime chicks with rabbit ears don't seem like such a stretch.

You know what we should really get? What was that beastman dude from FF10, that would be rad. If we had a race completely covered in fur that'd be different.

Personally I'd like to play a goblin, a gnath, or a vanu vanu.

Ronso? That was the dude from FFX. I think he's fairly similar to the Galka of FFXI / Roegadyn of FFXIV.

Or for more options for the current six races. Which would also not require SE to redesign every piece of gear in the game.

They said the character creation is restricted due to ps3 memory proplems. So they wont add more customization til the drop support for the ps3 i suppose.

That means they can't easily add more configurable features, but they can still add more options among the features we can already configure. For instance, adding a third clan among each of the existing races gives gives a 50% increase in all available options while adding at most a single bit for specifying one of 3 clans rather than one of 2. More options doesn't have to increase the memory load.

I'd actually be perfectly content if our current choices of races were expanded instead.

Give me some ear shape options and more tail options for Miqo'te. If I can make something fox-like or weasel-like instead of another catgirl, I'd be so down for that!

I'd say get a regular PS4 instead. With the Pro dropping soon, the old model will likely get a decent price drop.

Give me a new race. Leave the character configurations to the cash shop and gold saucer. So would rather a new race over new eyebrow and nose options.
