I fail to see why this requires a special label since it is the biological default. It appears to me that anyone talking about Cisgender, Cis-male or Cis-female is doing so because they have an agenda because there's no neec to make those distinctions, just as there is no need (or should not be) to make other sorts of distinction. People are people. In game i'll address people based on their name and apparent gender, just as I will IRL, unless they ask me to do otherwise.

Yeah, it kinda is (a biological default). You are making a huge assumption about what I am saying. I said nothing abou transgender individuals, nor does a biological default rule out exceptions such as transgender, but really you have to be intentionally blind if you cannot accept biological defaults. That does not in any way impune transgender individuals, nor would I do so. I didn't say or imply transgenderism is some phase - as your linked article discusses. The existence of a default condition doesn't exclude other outcomes.

This is how I roll. If the character is male, I'mma call you a "he" unless you tell me not too. If you are a female character I will call you a female unless you tell me not to.

I just assume your gender is your character and that's that. Assuming every character in the game is a male, for example is rude imo or ignorant. Because some people(women) may not want to be branded a male just because "oh catgirl".

This is my first MMO... as a female, it is really annoying when the most important thing in the entire game is you RL gender! It's all people talk about I feel..

Either you seem to be confused as to the differences between gender identity and biological sex (the former is the category cisgender belongs to) or I really don't know what.

Please don't. Being misgendered is one of the most common annoyances a transgender individual has to face. Nothing is wrong with ditching the pronouns and using "they" or "they're" for people you are unsure about. Show some respect.

I disagree about this being disrespectful. If anything I find you're the one being disrespectful now because they're trying to respect you by calling you as the gender 'YOU' choose to play as because they don't know who's behind the screen.
