The simple fact that the trickle of information regarding Hydaelyn, Zodiark, The Ascians and the Warriors of Darkness is so gradual. There's clearly much that we haven't been told or shown yet - and quite a few mysteries to unravel as well such as Minfilia's predicament and why she was put in the position she found herself in at Hydaelyn's demand. Plus it's often the case with Final Fantasy's antagonists for their motivations to have at least some justification. If nothing else I imagine quite a few people will be - understandably - disappointed if the entire conflict is wrapped up abruptly or ends up being very simplistic. I doubt it will be though - call it a hunch, I suppose.

3.4 should provide quite a few answers though - and provide yet more questions in the process. It should be exciting and provide a lot of fresh material for people to discuss and speculate upon.
