Ideas for Improving the Golden Saucer.

Hey everyone, I love the idea of the Golden Saucer and would love to see it turn into a true thriving community center. So here are a few ideas I had on possible ways to bring that "thrill" into The Golden Saucer. Feel free to share your ideas as well and post feedback.

- Restructure Chocobo racing to allow more freedom to riders and more intricate courses with power ups and hazards.
- Additional balancing for triple triad.
- As for Lords of Vermilion I have no idea if it's in a good condition or needs work as I never play it.

ADDITIONAL

-Make the Golden Saucer Cross server like the Diadem. If possible also allow the ability to choose channels. This would help keep the Saucer packed and keep that bustling feeling.
-Daily triple triad, chocobo racing, lords of vermilion ratings and winners posted on a leaderboard in the saucer(cross server, with server ID on name). With small prizes for places on the board, like extra MGP.
- Weekly tournaments for triple triad, chocobo racing, lords of vermilion. These could take place in special venues like a special tournament triple triad room or tournament chocobo race tracks. All events could be observable by spectators outside the venues via an NPC to enter spectator mode. Special prizes for winning the tournaments.
-Add another section to the golden saucer with an always available free climb platformer section full of little routes.

Make Lords of Verminion controller friendly.

Right now it's interface in nigh identical to mouse and keyboard if on console. The touchpad is not a mouse! We need the ability to slap minions on our controller just like regular content.

Add some battle content.

At Fanfest they have an extreme primal roulette where you spin a wheel and get certain disadvantages. Do that. Make it a 3 day reset or something and have it reward something fun. Have it cost MGP to enter.

That's amazing! As someone who loves a good challenge and primal fights this is perfect. I was unaware they even had this at fanfest.

Add a minigame/gate where you have to run through a maze and avoid powerful monsters (or even better, players playing as monsters, like manticore in PotD) that would 1-shot you if they catch you. I don't think this needs to necessarily be kept in the GS, but I think it'd fit in there pretty well.

Snowboard and motorbike game from VII please.

I'd suggest moving the upcoming duelling to there - put it in a proper gladiatorial arena, allow players to spend MGP placing bets on the contestants.

Would be great to see some new Chocobo racing circuits too

Add that roller coster game from FF7.

Add "Untouchable!" as a minigame.

Rules:

• Run a long path and reach the end without getting hit
• Sprint is enabled, but any other dodging skills are disabled
• Getting hit by only 1 AoE and your out
• Amount, speed and size of any AoE increases with your progress
• Chicken, COME ON!
