Which made FFXI pointless outside Abyssea.
If I had a dollar for every time you have said something makes this game pointless I could retire a happy man. And yet, with as many fixes they have put in this game that makes it more and more pointless to you, you still play and post A LOT. Is there a quota to a level of pointlessness before we stop seeing you or is this just going to continue forever in the same pointless fashion?
Sounds like fun, wish i could find a group of people to powerlevel me to that pointRight now a party of 8 people requires no -real- setup. I was in one 35-40ish with no healers or tanks doing just fine on raptors. I was also raking in something like 40-70k an hour. All we did was attack and spam weaponskill abilities. No tactics, no planning, just grab a bunch of raptors and spam kill them.![]()
if the player chooses to fight stuff that's easier, instead of more challenging mobs who's making the game easy mode? the player or the developer?

*Don't argue with idiots. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
100% Agree with OP. But then after my own thread over the same exact subject, we already knew that.
You don't have to do raptors, there are other mobs to grind on throughout the world. We were grinding toadstools in Coerthas that granted smaller EXP but were easier and safer to fight. And when you chained them, it granted great EXP.
Venture out, you can find some mobs that require some teamwork, but not all grind parties require teamwork.
