yes i complain... because it makes the game pointless
theres nothing special about being max level , you can do it in a week or 2 now.
FFXI had it right.
Mew!
There was nothing special about being max level back then either. Arguably, it was even worse because there was nothing to do once you got there. I just don't understand the need to feel like everything you do in a video game is an accomplishment. I realize people do play for that reason, but it boggles my mind. Play to have fun. If it stops being fun, take a break. This isn't rocket science.
Troll or someone with a very messed up head.
You want to feel special in a game because you subjected yourself to months of extended torment and others didn't. You have a problem, seek help.
What is this nonsense?
Of course people who commit to something have a right to feel good. That's the point of RPG's in general pushing through all the grind and story till your strong enough to beat it. And "extended torment" Hah! There was plenty in XI to break up the grind and look forward to, not to mention all the relationships formed through parties and linkshels.
So this game is a "mindless grind" because you can get level 50 in a week or 2, but FFXI, with its months of grinding (before abyssea) was right, so let me get this right, you want to have a game that is alot more grinding to lower the amount of grinding you my friend make no sense at all.
Which made FFXI pointless outside Abyssea.
If I had a dollar for every time you have said something makes this game pointless I could retire a happy man. And yet, with as many fixes they have put in this game that makes it more and more pointless to you, you still play and post A LOT. Is there a quota to a level of pointlessness before we stop seeing you or is this just going to continue forever in the same pointless fashion?
