no necessarily. You can just stipulate that you JUST want a friend to level. Most people here are open to romance, but you can't say "I don't want romance so don't even try" or others JUST want romance in game giving not more info about themselves. Of course that can reduce your chance to find someone, plus add that most of us won't transfer just to level with another person that could possible be a friend or just a leveling partner (kind of feels like a co-worker), and many more factors.

Unfortunately, that's human nature for you. You inform them what you want, what you are looking for, what you are willing to accept, yet people ask for more. Just establish in the first meeting what you are searching for. If they accept and then later "change their mind", then you have the right to say GTFO.

In regard to transferring. are you willing to transfer to just play with one person that can be a friend while you have more friends in the current server?. I think that's the main reason why most people say NO to the question: willing to transfer? (obviously there can be more reasons such as:money, FC, static, etc. If you read some apps, most people say, I have a friend (rl) in here. They need me or I have friends, they will kill me if I transfer)

If any of my friends still played this game I sure as heck wouldn't be posting here.

Believe or not, people with friends in their server still post saying, "my FC needs me!, my friends will miss me or if my friend(s) transfer...." If you think transfer will do the trick, Alysanne transfer. Just select the people that have/look what you need/want. Communicate with them and see how things go.
