Well I'll tell ya my own embarrassing stories so you don't feel like the only one.

First person I thought was going to play with me I made a full set of eikon armor back when it was the new hotness and fully melded it. Then they completely ignored me and I just let it go, ended up giving it to a new player who just hit 60 on monk, but they really didn't understand how good what I gave them was so it was a little unfulfilling.

Next time around I gave up a medium house (trashed it, didn't sell it) and transferred and it quickly turned south.

Sooo now I'm about 50 million gil poorer and still not much wiser. I never reposed either, I just view the thread out of habit at this point.

Im a little more sore about the house than anything else, I can't buy a new one on my server as there are none.

I'm mostly annoyed about the house I lost too, I trashed it because I didnt want to create more work for myself trying to convert even more gil for the transfer. And if (more like when) I transfer back, I wont even be able to get a house again until the let houses auto-demo again :l

I should have stayed firm on not transferring, but I wanted to go/try somewhere new .-.

I'm sure you all will find hmi/her/other that you are looking for, just need to be sure on what you will and will not do as well as seeing what they are willing to give for you as well. Many people forget about the latter when they are in the 'dating' stage.

I don't know if I should repost mine or not, the person I was potentially partnering too seems to have gone MiA right after I sold the house I had on my server and transferred. :l

Be careful I guess? Even if someone seems real friendly and nice, things can still go poorly. I'm giving them at least another day, but this is day 2 with them not replying to anything. Yeah, two days isn't much? But it kinda feels like it is to me when they were more than talkative prior to all this and kept saying how I need to transfer so we can do this and that and it'll be fun blah blah blah.

what can ya do haha. I think I might just go to a low pop server and buy a big house and live alone

Sorry to hear that, but maybe before you leave the server that you just moved to, maybe stick around and see what it has to offer. They might come back sooner than you expected also, so you never know. Just take a bit more time before deciding to do anything like moving again. Or maybe you and the Alyssane person have some common interests and can be friends at least since I think both of you are seeking?

It will be low population, I spent forever (ok, a few hours) making characters to run to mist/lav beds just to see what servers had houses open. Even the lower end of the medium servers are sold out.

I was only looking on the Aether data center though, you might find a better balance somewhere on Primal, or if you are willing to live in (shudder) the Goblet.

I refuse to buy a place in the goblet lmao. Last I looked Zalera had some spots open but that was a few days ago.
