Krile is actually a walking FFV reference, so I don't think her name really counts. She does say outright that her grandfather gave her the name Krile in the English version, and that it isn't her birth name.

Same goes for Wedge (and Biggs). They are named thus in reference to reoccurring characters in the FF series. Cid is, too, but his name fits his race.


And is Pipin confirmed Dunesfolk? His eyes are jet black, so it's hard to tell.

I'm pretty sure he is, considering that he seems to be from Ul'dah, which seems to be devoid of Plainsfolk (save maybe the Eastern area of Thanalan that goes into the Twelveswood). While I'm not so eagle-eyed I don't see any traces of the cat's-eye-like pupil that Plainsfolk seem to have.

Also Krile's Japanese name is Kururu so that name does count. As an adopted name likely exclusive to the english script Krile is discounted as a "typical" Lalafellin name.
