I;m pretty sure in Pipin's case the "pin" part is one suffix.

The thing about female Lalafell names is they they repeat syllables, have a total of 2 unique syllable regardless of clan and both syllables have at least 2 letters (note that there are cases with an additional letter added i, but I don;t think that hampers the pronunciation, the two letter minimum rule can also be bended in some cases). With that in mind I'm certain that Pipin's name is pronounced "pi-pin" or "pip-in" not "pi-pi-n"
