If the thread was over it would be locked. Though it seems your just trying to be facetious and undermine the post (which can suggest rudeness).

Is this where both of you express malice or after reading this part, reply apathetically (or to choose not to respond at all to circumvent the first two options). Will either of you choose to say how I should let it go despite my "mistreatment"? Will you reply with a quib about me being a child or that I sound combative or even abrasive, the very same traits your recent post seem to suggest?

The point is communicating with this community is an unnecessary risk when learning how to do well in FFXIV (e.g. being locked into paradoxical situation like I was in). Yes, as a whole this community seems to be "better" than most. However, it shares what most if not all communities tend to lack, equity.
