What is apparent is you do not understand what the word 'negative' means, either that or you have not read the other thread.

I'm happy that you know how to skim; however, the OP's reasoning doesn't matter after his first question in that thread which opens the field to everyone to express their views on the question. "Is it time for Yoshi P to step down and allow someone else to take over?" is a simple question that was asked. He followed the question with his reasoning, also known as his opinion. The point was to ask everyone's opinion on the issue, not to make a rant. Thus its not negative? But please tell me what your definition of negative is since I'm apparently wrong.

The OP of the other thread specifically says Yoshi should lose his job and be replaced just because that OP is a little butt hurt over some of the recent additions to the game. They are being self-entitled, ignorant and quite frankly ridiculous.

Do you ever get tired of going through threads and only calling out the people who actually have opinions and thought out criticisms/ideas(even if they are bad)? Literally thats all you do.

Saying he should lose his job which either means forcing him to step down or firing him since it is clear he loves this game and his job is a highly negative plus extremely insulting towards him and just because you try to get more people on your side and hide it behind a question mark does not change it from being negative to positive.

Honestly i'm sad to see that everytime someone trys to make a positive thread half the posts are people Bashing them for it.

Yes, Criticism is a good thing, and if there are things you dislike it is the correct thing to be open about it, BUT , and this is indeed a big but, Saying that you like something is just as much important to be said.

Say all day that one could answer in one of the million negative threads, but thats not the point. If you can name specific things that you like thats great and all, but honestly, you don't need too when you say you like something.

I love the game, i Sincerely do. This does not mean i think everything is great and it doesn't have to. Mistakes are made, but at large i love what the developers are doing, and it is good to let them know that aswell. If the only feedback is negativ this makes it seem like everything in fact IS negative, which is at large not true no matter how often people say that the sky is falling

I'll admit that the other thread had negative opinions of the content it was addressing (or even that there was some degree of butt-hurt), but to frame all this in the question of whether people were "white knight"-ing Yoshida:

Paraphrasing: 'Should Yoshi, having saved 1.x and brought it into the light that is ARR/HW, now have a more visionary, rather than just pragmatic/salvaging, director take the helm?'

That in itself is far from negative... about Yoshida. The thread's negativity is aimed along the lines of, 'it lacks vision (and in some ways shows a path unattractive to the OP) and has failed to address significant known and admitted problems', not Yoshida himself, save what portion of game's faults the individual reader believes lie with its director/producer.

In other words, it merely held concerns about certain designs and design paths, and wondered if a new leader might be better able to address those concerns. Yet others took that a slight against Yoshida himself, and rose to defend him. Moreover, some rose to defend his contributions up til now, which were not disputed, rather than what his presence might imply for coming development, which was the point of the thread. Certainly, past contributions can be used to infer future ones, but no such connections were made.

Not true at all, you are making the mistake of confusing a construct of your imagination with reality. Do I call out people on their bad ideas and poor excuses plus do I express a different opinion to others from time to time? Yes on both counts but if even bothered to look at my prolonged post history you would clearly see that is not all I do. Nice try at attempting to spread a false narrative but one that falls short when actually bother checking it.
