I want to bump this thread just for the sake of bumping it until that other garbage thread falls off the page.

I imagine both this thread and the other will be removed come tomorrow. The other thread because of how ridiculous and insulting it is towards Yoshi and this one because it has been derailed by people who have an issue about the fact a positive thread about Yoshi was created against the backdrop of the other negative ones. I probably haven't helped matters by being sucked into arguments with those who dislike this threads existence or people who have taken issue with something I said but meh...such is life.

Did you read my post at all? I play on average 16 hours per day. I am far from being a casual player. I like challenges and no I do NOT care for all nerfs. Would you like me list things I don't like to please you?

As we filter out the white knights who would accepting eating a bag of rocks if SE told them to eat a bag of rocks we slowly come to the reality that the game is very empty and general content is too easy and you play through it very fast leaving you extremly burned out in the end by feeling the game is more of a chore than fun.

Gears are still unpersonal (Crit det all da tingz)

World maps are still empty eventhough they are very big (when you have level 60 jobs the only thing left for you to do is DOL, maps and hunts wich become more of a burden and a chore than something fun due to the easy difficulty of the general game).

People still get punished for putting any form of effort into this game while so called "casuals" get rewarded with nerfs echo and the satisfaction of beeing able to always get what Player A has with half the effort/time. I would not be surprised that next month people can use their Yokai Watch medals to trade for legendary medals because the casual community are crying because they don't want to grind whatsoever so just because they pay for a sub they are entitled to a glowy mount like the person who grinded.

Palace of the dead is still a joke with no thought process into it. Maps and chest with 0 puzzles alternative paths to reach the next floor etc.

Diadem failed hard and still has not been fixed and died out big time.

This is not a testing ground for ideas to be scrapped later on.

Fast levling is proven (via research) to keep a player going because it makes you think you keep acheiving things fast but the price of this is that most players barely know how to play their jobs because of this (don't be naive here cause the amount of derp is huge here.).

Same thing over and over and over again new amazing currency jibba jabba gets introduced go zombie mode keep doing the same two expert weekly to get 1 item of the amazing jibba jabba. A full set of the amazing jibba jabba currency legit takes almost 8-9 weeks due to how the game limits. By this time something new is already about to be introduced making you already feel whatever you just did now is useless in 2ish months ahead. I'm pretty sure this logic is mega amazing?
If you have more than one main job you are pretty much screwed with this cause no matter how hard you try the game itself limits you with the weekly cap.

I can go on but i will stop about content.

Check the 2011 polls from Yoshi P. What did the FFXI and 1.0 market want? This was an SE official poll and people voted for Horizontal progression and SE and Yoshi P still did not listen to the consumers who kept this game alive when SE and Yoshi P went out and said they need people to continue to pay subs or they will have to close the game (check previous live letters for yourself).

Yoshi P does not need to step down but actually listen to what the players want. People have already expressed they rather play with 1-2m loyal FF customers who will enjoy FFXIV for many years to come than these disloyal people who keep joining FFXIV because this game reminds them so much of WoW these are the same players who have infested and destroyed our wonderful community and they are the ones who are getting the most attention from Yoshi P.
Does anyone here buy a Street Fighter game because it reminds them so much of Tekken or Mortal Kombat? No one here would buy a Street Fighter game for a Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Guilty gear ex content you buy Street Fighter because you want street fighter.
Same goes with you buying an Iphone because its an Iphone you don't buy an Iphone with an Android OS inside.

FFXI IS Square Enix flagship for MMORPGs. It works the community showed their loyalty aswell but did not get what they want.

It is very easy to save any game if you have a strong house hold name like Final Fantasy and you pretty much just aim for Blizzards consumer market by making this game a WoW Game in Final Fantasy clothing since you pretty much just adapted to whats out there instead of making something unique.

To eliminate ALL intentionally arguements about the this isnt FFXI 2.0 this isnt WoW either. FFXI is a FF brand and part of SE so you should follow that and not WoW. Did you see Star Wars go WoW in Star Wars clothing?

NO ONE I REPEAT NO ONE from the FFXI community enjoyed waiting for hours for groups or enjoyed waiting until JP midnight to continue something etc.

People are asking to bring back content what made FFXI so good and rewarding and challenging and putting it here. Yoshi P and his team has pretty much used influences from every other MMORPG but FFXI itself. (using mobs items and races from FFXI does not count and diadem is a failed dynamis and PoTD is a failed Nyizle).

There is so much to say about the negativity because its slowly showing. Players are so burned out even the so called "casual market" because people are running out of things to due because of how easy most of the game actually is aside from savage and some extreme fights.

This criticism is to actually help SE and Yoshi P to understand whats really going by people who like him and love the final fantasy XIV brand as much as they loved FFXI.
