I wonder what people's reaction would be if instead of Yokai Watch the event was Pokemon?

I love chocolate in my peanut butter and peanut butter in my chocolate.

But I do not love pokemon, Yo-Kai watch or a likely to happen Disney event when the new kingdom hearts draws near, in my Final Fantasy.

Either SE isn't doing as well financially as they claim to be doing or someone wants more bonuses, cause we have not seen anything in the game indicative of a larger staff or this money being channeled to ffxiv.

For me, this is all <shrug> worthy. I'm not the demo for Yo-Kai, so it's just minions and glamours. I may be wrong, but I'm not sure much of a KH3 crossover will be actual disney disney stuff.

The event does add some Lore into FF14 world being that while Eorzea and the Garlean Empire believe in Demons and Spirits mostly being just Evil the Doma believe in Yokai which is there version of Demons and Spirits but they can get along with other people.

You do know it was because YoshiP was friends with the level 5 guy so they decide to do a fun event, not because they need money or something.

Cash shop sales went towards the EU datacenter, I'm pleased with the campaign because it's more money for the dev team that doesn't come from players forking over extra for mounts and glamours (plus we get an event from it, everyone wins)

Then there are things like upgrading the servers for new housing wards and the deep dungeon save data system, you start to see a lot of things that have been paid for if you look a little.

I'm haven't seen anything Yo-Kai outside of XIV, but it doesn't bother me being in the game. I wouldn't be bothered if they promoted Pokemon either. Kingdom Hearts, however...I would LOVE a KH crossover. (I'll live if they don't, though. Maybe. Please SE?)

What about a door to darkness leading to eorzea, meaning that aqua came through that way? but in doing so unleashed heartless onto the world? (not dissimilar to the XIII event)

I didn't want Hatsune Miku, Sword Art Online, or Fate Stay Night in Mabinogi when they did those crossovers (and actually, Mabinogi is doing the FSN crossover right now), but they came with really cool events and cool rewards.

If you people stopped being so stubborn and stopped complaining about something out of the ordinary once in a while maybe you'd find that you actually enjoy it. If you don't enjoy it, it'll be gone before you know it.
