$30 optional mount on the cash shop is too much for people. But these people are forgetting the 13 brand new minions and weapons we got, as well as 2 new mounts... for the cheap price of $0... and are also optional.

Um, what? Related how? Cosmetic doesn't matter to the question I answered.Well if cosmetic doesn't matter let's stop putting housing itens, mounts, minions, dyes, glamours, emoticons, hairs in the game. I mean, they don't add anything to the gameplay anyway.
I wouldn't care if this was GW2, for example, then I could put all my money in cosmetics itens because guess what, I wouldn't be paying a sub already..End game is not affected by the items currently in Mogstation. They do not give you an advantage over anyone else where end game is concerned.

For the same reason that you guys treat the "We are missing on content we pay for with our sub" as the ultimate truth.
In my first post, i have already made it sufficiently clear that we cannot really know, but obviously, this is the side i take, so i am not going to mention "we can´t really know" in every post i make.
But suffice it to say that before cash shops were introduced, most MMO had A LOT less content when it comes to mounts and costumes and customization.
So i would say this business model helped, so i think my "version" is more likely than not to be true.
They should add PVP and PVE damage boosts, so that people's argument over "missing out" on paid things in the mogstation relevant to actually missing out on something that would help them in game
I'm really not defending the restaurant analogy. My original reply, which you quoted, was to give a slightly more accurate example instead of the poor example that was provided by the previous poster. MMOs are not a restaurant. They are also not a theater. They are their own beast, and this company in the past has managed to make an MMO that included all items in your sub (not including expansions / promotions as those are obviously different as well).Funny you mention that. There is an all-you-can-eat pizzeria buffet in my town that offers desserts and coffee for an extra fee. I've never seen anyone complaining that they can't afford it and that therefore the pizzeria should not offer desserts for any other customer either.
I get that times change. Perhaps this is the new way for subscription games, but I can still have the opinion that it is completely wrong.
Exactly. Let's take all of the items that doesn't give you some kind of gameplay-wise advantage and let's put then in the mogstation. That's fine?
Because the MMO is sub-based, so it's expected that itens are made with the sub money. Way more than your conspiration of itens not existing if they weren't meant to be on mogstation. Mogstation money should've been used for the game, there are tons of mounts that can be recoloured, mogstation shouldn't support mogstation. The fact that people agree with this kind of move is what makes itens go to the mogstation in the first place, not the fact that mogstation exist makes the item idea exist. For the same reason that you guys treat the "We are missing on content we pay for with our sub" as the ultimate truth.

You mean the promotion and advertising? Like, the partnership that already involves money for both sides?
Really SE I don't really speak out against you but you dun goofed here $30 for a mount and a mount that could of been given as a beast tribe reward. Mogmenders anyone? Cause it a freaking floating moogle!

Ok? I still don't see how that is related to the linked conversation, with the original quote being "So when can we start saying the cash shop is the new end game?" The answer is still when it's no longer just cosmetic. Adding all cosmetics to the Mogstation still would not make it Pay to Win.
