@Crica: Maybe you did not understand me if there a easy way to level no one going to do it the old way due to the fact that the broken PL is better. The people who are not doing it would then at the end have to do it due to the fact that most of there friends are and they would be level up slow. It become something of main steam just to get a PL and not even do anything to get 50.
@EmeraldHill: Let me start by i can care less about the casual getting 50 but getting 50 without doing anything and everyone can have every job 50 less then what is now is broken. I play FFXI for 6years and i did dislike that you had to wait for party but once you had one it was the best thing ever. Don't get me wrong i don't want the hardmode from FFXI but i also don't want to see more of a casual then WoW This game become more easy then WoW at this point.
Yoshi-p said if you get powerlevel and killing a higher level mob you should not get a lot of EXP, but testing out the powerlevel system in many level range it seem you get the full amount of exp. You can easy get 200-1000 from exp chain and the stronghold you at 44 i was getting 1k per Mob i don't think it should be giving that much but i wont get into the stronghold the powerlevel is the issue at hand.
A game should not promote powerlevel SE could find other way of helping your friend reach your level. "Link accounts" "EXP Ring" Or even make it so we could powerlevel someone by just healing there party they still fighting mobs and learning but at the end there no downtime and it's not like now that your friend can go AFK and /follow and he can come back in few hours 1-25+.
If you people think this is ok then i can't believe how players have become this is not even about hardcore/casual so please don't put that in this topic when we not even talking about that all you doing is trying to find a reason to shut down the topic by calling us troll.
@Dargoth_Draconia: You dislike the topic? you think it's a idiotic thread it's funny when it's really a idiotic thread everyone jump in talk about it and likes it. But when it a real issue people go and jump on it troll dislike it and try to close it down by any means. You dislike this topic right? don't post on it and leave it alone and let everyone else have a conversation about a very important issue of a broken system.
Beside trying to troll the topic come up with why it should stay and why you think it not broken but i guess that too much for you people to handle and i can't believe you can't have a conversation without someone being a little kid about it -.-
@Amsai: Like i said there other way you could do it "link account " "Exp ring" powerleveling his power by just healing not killing it for him and he goes to sleep and come back 30 within a few hours. it's not right and should not stay if people don't even want to level up so they can feel good that they reach the end of 50 then they should play something else. They most be a time sink and a grind in a game if not then just take level out of the picture.

to be perfectly honest... if the majority want to do it because they find it enjoyable, who are you to say they should not?no one going to do it the old way
this is a game we play to enjoy, is it not? and if the majority of the players ARE enjoying it... that kind of speaks for itself... no?
The majority of people on Selbina I see are not being power leveled. Grouping by itself is such an insane way to gain XP that I really don't think PL ever will be the main form of leveling for everyone.
Just lucky bastards who have someone willing to power level them.
People generally enjoy cheating at least in the short term. That doesn't make it a good idea to let people cheat.
I can't wait till they fix it (even if they do) so I can come back and see everyone complaining about it being fixed and how the EXP rate is so slow.
Deal with it. If they want to fix it, they will. If they thought it was a problem they probably wouldn't have released it like that. Also, they could've hot fixed it already.
Keep that in mind.
which has nothing to do with players playing a game for enjoyment and the majority enjoying the PLing that the game allows them to enjoy and a few players telling the majority to stop it...

It has everything to do with it. If you could get invincibility by typing iddqd, people would do it, have "fun" being invincible, then cry when others point out that the game just got its legs violently decapitated. That's exactly what's going on here.
.....................................................
the games rules state players can PL.
majority of players rejoice and go enjoy PLing....
couple of players walk up to the majority of players who are enjoying themselves PLing and say "stop it cus it aint right the majority of the games players be enjoying the games rules when they are not playing with us"....
yes, your post is exactly like that... /sarcasm...
/shoo fly...
Are you seriously suggesting that PL is the intended way to progress in the game? Like, seriously? As in you're not abusing a broken exp formula? There is a reason why PL is not very effective in most games. Heck, even FFXI calculates your exp based on the highest level present in the group to prevent this......................................................
