I'm having a hard time understanding how people enjoy the BLM...

I often still ask how others just don't feel stressed out playing Black Mage at 60. I mean, buff preservation? They picked one of the most stressful types of job play imaginable whereas BLM at 50 was so relaxed and fluid. I can agree that it was sort of slow and boring at times but thinking back at FF games, you just pick a spell and cast then watch the devastation.

Don't get me wrong, I might not be able to enjoy it but whenever I see a BLM performing well, it impresses me. Still, just thinking of all the mechanics and dodging we have to do all while keeping Enochian and pressing DPS is pure job repellent for me.

Another thing that keeps me away from it even in dungeons is their AoE rotation. It never made sense to me in the slightest for only one reason: Flare consumed all MP. Seriously, was Flare supposed to be used in AoE rotations only while Convert or X/Max-Ether was available? Flare causes a total stop to any rotation and/or job activity without them.

Just my view on it. I will still salute any BLM that can forego all these job quirks and perform it well.
