I have read 60% of this thread waiting for constructive posts suggesting improvements with a in-depth analysis how to implement it so far all I found is "We need to make X to make FFXIV great again!".
Before suggesting something put youself in the place of a game director/designer/developer and etc... "How would I implement it?", "How long would it take?", "How hard it is to do it?", "Would it affect previous expansions?"...

If I resume what I saw, is just a bunch of "Hey! You need to remove cap and create more stuff with higher quality every 3 months while totally rewriting your game mechanics!".

This thread needs to be closed due to excessive Trumpness.

If Donald Trump actively played XIV he would probably take up the mantle of RMT/Gilseller. Since he's all about money and business. And knows that SE/Yoshida will never be able to eradicate the plague they represent. And would concisely exploit it. All while shouting obscenities about players playing as some such character race.

I don't know how you expect subscribers of this game to act and think like a game developer when developing a game has different departments, especially those that have little knowledge of how development actually works.

Is it wrong for players to aspire to want their product made better or is it about making the dev's jobs easier at the expense of veteran players moving on after seeing how hollow the MMO turns out to be because of several imposed restrictions?

I'd pay to see you say that after the game is dead after 4.0 because apparently according to you everything is fine, you must be new to MMOs.

They can start by not making every new (or even patch if you want to be technical..) patch not make previous patch gear obsolete for starters...
