Can we stop destroying the solo part of this game?

Now where did I say I don't like soloing? I'm pretty sure I said I don't like the fact that they upped the difficulty of soloing in 1.19, cause I liked the pace of solo exp pre 1.19.

I was just re-reading the earlier pages in this thread, people talking about how this killed solo and how could they have missed this in testing when i remembered recently it was stated that a 1v1 battle with a monster of equal level should take 40 seconds. and thats almost exactly acurate, they didnt miss this. It was intentional! I'm just trying to find the note that has it in!

Oh i don't even worry about exp
Just always was fun to be able to kill something above your lvl..
Same lvl is like bwah not that cool or fun.
But something 6 lvl's higher was fun hehe.
I don't mind getting lesser exp then a party.
Makes our solo work have more efford in getting a 50 instead of powerleveling with a party
Just having some more cure options would be needed though.

But people always start trolling on these forums..
No wonder no one likes to use em as they are waaay unfriendly.
They should ban like 40% of em that always troll on other peoples posts.
They don't do anything beifecial anyway.

just because people here don't want play a broken game doesn't mean there trolling you, also try The Grand Companies leves i find they give really good solo xp (sadly there not many of them though). i solo a lot my self and I have no problems you just have to rethink way you play, test thing out.
also find good ls it will make you want to party.

just because people here don't want play a broken game doesn't mean there trolling you, also try The Grand Companies leves i find they give really good solo xp (sadly there not many of them though). i solo a lot my self and I have no problems you just have to rethink way you play, test thing out.

Oh i have a very fun LS. Talk to them the complete time.
But i rather go alone on my adventure killing stuff and such :-)

You are referring to Western MMo's. FFXIV is an eastern MMo, you know, from the land where the grind fest MMo's that are churned out weekly make more money than your average cities population of employed.

They simply don't form to the same moulds.

Gathering and crafting are as far away from solo content than can possibly be. You do not exist in a vacuum in this game. Crafting and gathering are both very much collaborative effort, even if you are physically by yourself.

It's the main appeal of actually playing the game for me right now. All this money I have? Gear I've obtained? It's a sign of status within the community. I don't play just for myself, I play to show off everyone else what I have accomplished.

This fact makes the game automatically a niche. That's not a negative- that is something that should be embraced and used to its full potential.
