Can we stop destroying the solo part of this game?

Hello SE and Forum Community,

First of i really like the patch a lot!!

The thing that still would need a fix is the absurd extreme high costs for cure 2.
Now with the physical lvl being gone solo archers or other classes not mages can't even choose to put points in MP.
I am an lvl 43 archer and know all my skills and which ones to use and so on.
But being killed by just 3 lvl 46 efts is ridicules...
I mean there is no way you can heal enough.
I took all advice of my previous post and got bloothbath and second wind.
Then i use cure and Sacrifice but nothing is enough.
Also the fact that an archer still misses a lot of shots..

How do people do a quest if they can't heal themselves without an overpowered easy mage class that almost has unlimited healing..
Not everyone likes to follow a group like a puppy dog.
Some like to play just on their own or with friends when they choose to.
I understand that cure 2 with 22mp was way too low and easy but 75 is just extremely destroying peoples gameplay.
Not just me but every solo player complains about this.
A monster of 3 lvl's higher should be harder then same lvl but not impossible.

How about a potion that heals more then just 150 and has a cooldown of 5 minutes?
A potion that heals 600 would be nice already.
Or make cure 2 cost 50 mp so we can use it at least 8 times..
But yeah i love the game and go with the flow and all but this is just going a little overboard..

I am someone that wants to go his own way in a game.. not following 7 other players to where the leader wants to go you know ?
For those starting to troll and stuff..
It's just an opinion of the games MP costs.
So don't start with the whine and QQ stuff.
If you don't have anything better to do then bash on someones opinion then go play outside in the sandbox.

I also like to solo, mostly because I don't want to have to be on everyone eles's timetable. I don't understand why there should be a limit on how much a character can level up. It would be awesome to be able to solo all of the quests.

well i like also to solo my friend but soon or after we must realize that is an MMO Massive Multiplayer online so if you want something to do solo then we have allot of single players games here is MMO

we are lucky that the main story you can complete it solo, so dont ask many things my friend ... believe me i love solo and single games but 1 year now i hated how mach solo mmo was ffxiv and thanks SE for the 1.19 patch its almost perfect how much party based starts to become it is ...

last night was the first time that a friend call me for help and also first time that i raise someone adventurer that i find dead in the game ...believe me it was the first time that i feel that the ffxiv is MMO

I agree with the OP. My two cents about soloing is that I should be able to log in and enjoy some basics. Basics for me is leveling for one. You shouldn't need a party for this. Also I should be able to do most quests solo if I chose to.

Not all mind you but most. I play MMOs because it's a flat monthly fee so that helps keep my costs down. There's always new things added so it changes. SE please make this the fun casual game you said it be. Don't make it into XI.

Lv37 taking on a Lv46 mob. That is your problem. It has been said repeatedly that you should now be fighting mobs closer to your own rank, not 9 levels higher unless you are in a party.

I will step in and say he is rank 43 not 37, lodestone confirms this, but the forum hasnt updated. but still. a 3 level gap and being outnumbered is too much.

Stop trying to kill monsters +3 levels heigher, they changed the game, learn to adapt.

A few pointers for you :-

Make sure you replace all your gear with new stuff
Make sure its optimal for your level or slightly lower, (higher level armor has a massive penalty hit to def now)
Make sure you have gear which is optimal for your class (see above)
Stop trying to kill monsters higher than yourself.
Try making friends with a mage.

It's an online game. It defeats the purpose.

By the time jobs roll around, I'm sure the game will be better balanced for it so don't worry too much.
