Don't worry, she is no longer aloneI'm not sure which one it is, but one of the NPCs in Idyllshire says the girl's parents still haven't returned from the Answering Quarter. [...] Two missing Miqo'te lovers who were last seen in the Answering Quarter─an area now overrun with violent sun bears─suggest that taste has already been acquired." Why, SE?
Tonight I saw her spawn on a bench beside the fountain, once again sad and alone, saying "Mom and dad didn't return again today..."
But then a bright light shone, and carby spawned next to her, comforting her
It stayed with her all through the night

Beast Tribe NPCs so I'm not sure if they count, but...
Vath Deftarm, for adorably idolizing us even after we tell him that sometimes being an adventurer is just about picking up rocks.
Lord Tarreson de Dzmael, for finally showing us that not everybody from that particular High House is a douchebag.
The Malingering Moogle, for giving us sass in a way nobody else does.
Trpimir Ratyasch's Way Status (7.3 - End)
[ ]LOST [ ]NOT LOST [X]TRAUNT!
"There is no hope in stubbornly clinging to the past. It is our duty to face the future and march onward, not retreat inward." -Sovetsky Soyuz, Azur Lane: Snowrealm Peregrination
I often feel I am missing ongoing stories from minor NPC's because I don't visit the areas they are in. The little Mqitten, the goblin engineers near the Idyllshire Aetherite, or the Ishgardian couple...
I just realized while going through the Brume that the children who used to pelt me with snowballs now stop and bow to me. That threw me off guard completely.
Finally found an old screenshot from 2012. Here he is.
Wish I had some screenshots from the fight. You fight the Lambs of Dalamud by the collection of gravestone rock piles.
And here's some lines from the quest he was involved in. It was an interesting turn of events near the end!

The fact we just let him be at the end had always bugged me. Bugged me enough to take a screenshot, it's the only reason I have it! But I suppose the calamity had seen him some justice.

Minfilia remembers you if you are a 1.0 player, but none of the other Scions. This seems to point to Echo users as not being affected by whatever caused that memory wipe. If we think of it as being caused by Althyk, god of time and the one whose power Louisoix used to save the Warriors of Light at the Calamity, it makes sense that the Echo that can transcend the boundaries of time and space would offer a protection of sorts to its users against having their memories messed with.
Actually she doesn't remember all 1.0 players, only those who specifically had the Legacy storyline (that is, they completed the Lunar Transmitter battle in 1.0 and is therefore designated as one of the 'original' Warriors of Light) - she treats any other 1.0 player exactly the same as a new adventurer just newly woken to the Echo. I know this for a fact as she didn't respond in any different way to my character who I transferred from 1.0 (and which I never did the 7th Umbral Era story for, thus I did not get the Legacy storyline in ARR), she just acted like she had never seen Enki before.Minfilia remembers you if you are a 1.0 player, but none of the other Scions. Either way, it seems in Minfilia's case it wasn't that the Echo 'protected' her from the amnesia, more she used the Echo to view that character's memories and saw who they were. But again because I didn't get the Legacy storyline in ARR I'm not certain of exactly what it is she said to a player who had the Legacy storyline, instead having to rely on secondhand info, so take that with a grain of salt.

The doctor over at... can't remember if it was Owl's Nest or Falcon's Watch in 1.x's Coerthas, who had taken in and treated an Ixali in secret. This was around the time the shadows of the Garlean aircraft were just starting to show through the clouds and whatnot, so to be honest this could have had more to do with the ominousness of the area, especially during the oddly long string of cloudy weather when I was leveling there, than the NPC himself though.
