Y'mhitra is a great character, and sister to Y'shtola. I wish she were in more MSQs. She also deserves a new outfit.

If we're allowed Job quests, then Fray from the DRK questline.
As in "Fray," a.k.a. you, for actually giving the Warrior of Light character and showing their inner turmoil.
If not, there's two noblewomen with a servant standing near the Ishgard airship docks - the Hyur complains "But a moon in the kitchens, and the maid is already fat with child!" Implicitly this is because her husband cannot keep it in his pants and is cheating on her with said maid, and that she'd stand out in broad daylight yelling about her dirty laundry is frankly hilarious to me. I mean, we know this is a recurring problem in Ishgard - 3 key figures in 3.0 are illegitimate children - but c'mon...

"There is no hope in stubbornly clinging to the past. It is our duty to face the future and march onward, not retreat inward." -Sovetsky Soyuz, Azur Lane: Snowrealm Peregrination
I feel like Edda was the only memorable NPC for me. I dunno.... When I first started the game I sort of related to her a bit lol
I started off as a conjurer and I wasn't the very best so I made quite a few mistakes. Some parties would give me tips, others would be.... Very honest. So I guess that cutscene where her other members yelled at her for messing up stuck with me. Plus her entire story later on was really interesting. I'm always a sucker for dark/scary plotlines.
Edda is pretty memorable. Her story highlights that being an adventurer isn't necessarily a pleasant experience and that the often cited 'adventurers are more tolerant' claim isn't applicable across the board.
As far as NPC's involved in class and job quests go...
Fray is very cool. I like Jacke a lot too.
I'm likely forgetting a lot of the more minor NPC's though.
Ochre Boulder, Hoary Boulder, Aenor, and Clemence. They're always the first NPCs who I go check on with each patch. Especially Aenor and Clemence.
For job quests...both Jacke and V'kebbe...particularly the latter and her love of sandwiches from the Bismarck restaurant. Always chuckle when I find her standing outside the place munching on one.
First, you guys are doing great. I mostly placed the restrictions to kind of get away from canned "Alphinaud sucks" and "Minfillia is useless" responses that I've seen so much of on the forum, and also to maybe see a little more of Eorzea that I haven't seen myself. I know I'm going to try to find a few of these NPCs myself. I actually want to go back and check on the guild NPCs now that I'm capping out all my classes. As far as job quest NPCs go, I LOVED Fray and Jacke. If not, there's two noblewomen with a servant standing near the Ishgard airship docks - the Hyur complains "But a moon in the kitchens, and the maid is already fat with child!" Second, I have seen those three a LOT and I've found it funny too. Once I actually understood what was going on. The first few times I saw them I almost thought it was some kind of astrology thing. Don't ask. XD
Fray was great. I liked Rielle as well, and am eager to see her become a DRK, which she seems to hint at wanting to do.
Humbert Longshaft and his two attendants where delightful fun, especially if you do the Moggle Mail quests.
The Couerl King story in the Mail quests was fun to, though I forget the names of the two Miqote sisters, one trying to rescue the other, it gave a lot of insight into their culture, which was neat.
Edda's story was tragic, from meeting her outside Sashtasa to seeing her ghost. I hope she returns, and gets some kind of happy ending to her story.
The little thief from the Brume that freezes to death, and you take her remains to the Sea of Clouds... that choked me up more then Haurchefant's death. He got to live his dream, die saving our lives.... she just dies, alone and forgotten, and for me (especially as a DRK) I felt really sad for her, and that I was powerless to help her. (I know, she didn't 'matter', but that's the point of DRK... to take care of those that 'don't matter'.)
That cute Arcanist that is always looking for a Carbuncle in Mor Dhona, and of course the Carbi that disapear everytime she pops ^^
The little Miquo'te at Idlleshire and her fluffy friend, back when i saw her for the first i was considered crazy by my FC members cause i was the only one to see her xD, her story seems really sad and i hope t(he devs will add more lore around her
never seen her before :O
If you like this kind of stories, the wife who died escaping with her husband in Coerthas is pretty touching too, he asks you to get to her body and bring back her wedding ring so she would not be marie to him and can find someone in heaven![]()

People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
