I always check back at the Rising Stones to see if any of the main Scions are going back there between patches. Sometimes though, I end up at Waking Sands before I realize I went to the wrong place. I consider Waking Sands as my first home and Rising Stones as my second home. I always try to check up on everyone at both places, but I particularly enjoy catching up with F'lhaminn when Thancred isn't around. I also like to see what V'mah Tia and his Hyuran lover are up to, and I always enjoy hearing what Coultenet has to say. Clemence is boring to me but I do enjoy discovering the new developments in Aenor's and the Roe brothers' lives.

While she's a bit more of a major character, I like F'lhaminn. I always check up on her on new patches.

It is, especially when it feels like you get a sense of how they are taking it, and how they seem to be accepting it, and when they are ready to move on (or at least she is) they are cut down.

I do wonder if she recognizes 1.0 players, particularly those who made it through the story back then, or if she was afflicted with the same memory loss as so many others.

I'm not sure which one it is, but one of the NPCs in Idyllshire says the girl's parents still haven't returned from the Answering Quarter.

There's a FATE in the Hinterlands called "Sun Bear, Sun Bear, What Do You Eat?", its description reads

    Why, SE?

Well people are always complaning about how the game is like "frendship is magic" so they decided to prove they are wrong maybe ^^"

This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.

Kinda hard to do when we already got pastel horses in Hydealyn :P

On a serious note it is gonna take a lot more than One background element to fulfill that goal. Maybe a mass Primal Summoning and tempering of one of the City States?

Figured the couple dozen other background elements of a similar sinister or violent nature had already helped fulfill that goal.

Though not sinister, thinking on less "innocent" and "friendship is magic" elements did remind me of one my favorite FATE NPCs...Alaimbert of the Spiked Butt from the FATE "No Ifs, Ands, or Butts."

Humberct Longhaft levels of hilarity in this one...all lines he says during the FATE:
"This pitiful display will prove naught to my brothers. Come harder."
"Like the surging waters of the might Coerthas, I come."
"Like the majestic Coerthas puffer, I swell."
"With a spear as stiff as ice, I thrust."

    And of course.

"Now that you've had a taste of my spear, lets see if you can handle my butt."

I'd nominate Rabid Ratata, captain of the Salthounds, the former pirates trying to rebuilt Poor Maid's Mill in Upper La Noscea. Way back during my first few weeks in A Realm Reborn, I fell instantly in love with Upper La Noscea or, more accurately, the rustic Oakwood on the west bank of Bronze Lake. Despite its tiny size, the area evoked my childhood memories of reading about treasure islands overrun with weeds and vicious beasts. The area's melancholic theme music further added to its appeal.

And right smack in the middle of Oakwood, there's the ramshackle Poor Maid's Mill, and the disgruntled ex-pirates struggling to make a new life for themselves, while fending off the occasional raid by coeurls and kobolds. It was during one of these attacks that I first noticed the wee lalafell who'd charged right into the thick of battle; a tiny pack of dynamite, with a foul mouth to match.

Out of curiosity, I followed the lalafell back to the secluded corner where she'd hide in between battles, with the wind apparently gone from her sails. The other pirates mutter among themselves about the wisdom of settling here, and there was a hint of near mutiny in the air. And I couldn't help but wonder, at the time, what exactly happened here? How did the Salthounds end up in Poor Maid's Mill, with a captain who clearly lived only for battle, much like the rest of her crew?

Right glad I was, when I finally found some answers in a post-moogle quest.
